Here's a little introduction to the creative mind behind Bad Publicity. Hi, I am Jordan. I am born in the Netherlands in the city Amersfoort and raised in a village called Barneveld. At the age 7 I got my first musical education, one year of general musical devellopment followed by six years of classical piano lessons at the local school for musical education. I bought my first guitar when I was fourteen years of age. In this same year I founded the school-rockband Goose-Flesh with a couple of highschool friends. In our 4 years of existence whe received some very good critics and even won the local band contest "Het Krakende Ei" (twice). It was in those days I realy got interested in composing. Since then there have been several other musical projects and bands I participated in. Most recent and important is my current band ZEV and ofcourse my own band/project Bad Publicity. Obviously, my biggest hobby is to write, record en produce my own music in my homestudio. I am a guitarist and pianist, but I am also trying to improve my skills on drums and bass. I am very much influensed by 70ties symphonic rock bands as well as present day progressive rock/metal music. Besides that I love to cheer up a party or wedding as a DJ . DJ Schwantz is my name when you find me turning the tables (ehm CD-players).
